Imagine a cleaning product as pure and chemical free as water. Doesn't exist you say? You're right. ActiveIon isn't as pure and chemical free as water, it is water. Yup, water. Nice healthy plain ol' tap water. I'm not kidding. (See? It's so pure that that's a picture of Bill Nye squirting it into his mouth!)
You fill up your slightly E.T. looking ActiveIon Pro with tap water, squeeze the trigger, and through some electrical magic that water becomes ionized. Or rather the electricity infuses the water with positive and negative ions, that attract dirt like teeny tiny little magnets.
That could very well be a completely wrong analysis of what the little magical tool does. I don't

Here is what I do know. I have used my ActiveIon Pro every day for the last week or so and I still love it as much as the day I took it out of the box. I love not using cleaning products and getting a better result than I did when I used them. I love that I'm not exposing my asthmatic girls to more chemicals. I love how clean everything is looking. And I love that I still think this is fun. Oh, and every time I use my tap to fill up the ActiveIon Pro I love the fact that I'm not spending mega bucks on cleaning solutions!
In the last week I have cleaned windows - ActiveIon ROCKS the window cleaning, I have cleaned the stove top - swoon on the easy wiping up of food spatters, I have cleaned the bathtub, I have cleaned the kitchen counters, the kitchen cabinets, the nasty corners on the kitchen linoleum, the TV screen, the computer screen, the bathroom mirror, and yes, the window frames outside the house. The only thing that the ActiveIon didn't rock was the grease build-up over my stove. It's not a huge fan of grease. Then again, neither was the Clorox Greenworks Cleaner.
Armed with my ActiveIon Pro and my brand new 36 pack of microfiber cloths (microfiber cloths! ActiveIon Pro's BFF!) I am making dirt and dust my... uh, I am mastering the cleaning of my home. Ahem. Even better, even M thinks that the thing is fun so the house is getting really clean. (Also, yes, our house is really dirty. There is much dirt to be mastered.)
It's a pricey investment, I won't lie to you, but it seriously will replace most of the cleaning products in your home. Plus, rumor has it that you can also use it to remove your make-up at night. Which I would have tested, except that I tend to forget that step and end up removing it in the shower the next morning. But that's entirely besides the point.
So, if you're very green conscious, or just looking to reduce your family's exposure to cleaning chemicals, if you really like to clean or need a fun gimmick to get yourself cleaning, and yes, if you have a couple hundred dollars lying around, hurry over to the ActiveIon website and purchase one of these babies for yourself! Or, you know, scroll down to see if you can win one.

ReplyDeleteI don't love cleaning, but I do love things that make cleaning easy & instantly rewarding. Once I'm actually cleaning, I feel good. It's just getting the motivation to start!
ReplyDeletei REALLY hate cleaning. i basically only do it when company is coming. and we haven't had company in a while so, basically, things are looking pretty bad right now.

i counted 13 including the title. that is a lot of times...and how do you pronounce that anyway?

i looked at the website: do you think it could actually (miraculously) get out the horrible stains on our furniture? i have been looking for ways to clean greenly. i don't have a couple hundred dollars but maybe someday...
ReplyDeletemelanie(dot)myatt(at)gmail(dot)com
I found ActiveIon and ActiveIon Pro 14 times - counting the title, and above the title where it says to win one. (One time it was not linked)
ReplyDeleteI hate to clean the house. If I could get in a regular routine it wouldn't get so bad, but that doesn't happen easily with 2 kids (as I'm sure you can relate to).
ReplyDeleteI watched the video on the ActiveIon website - I'd use it to clean our kitchen counters, bathroom (wonder if would it work in the shower and tub too?), I'd even try it for dusting - I don't like the feel of dusting cleaner on my hands.
ReplyDeleteI have been an Lemonade Stand follower for a few weeks now. :)
ReplyDeleteI love a clean house, I just don't love to clean it. There is nothing more relaxing than the house being totally clean.
ReplyDeleteI counted ActiveIon 16 times including the title, and the contest details, and fine print for the disclosure. That is a lot of times, but sounds like a great product.
ReplyDeleteI went to the website, which is very nice and also looks very clean! I love the fact that it takes the tap water and turns it into something that can clean and sanitize! It is so eco-friendly. That is right up my alley!
ReplyDeleteI would keep the activeion in my kitchen to keep it spotless!
I thought, Oh my gosh! I have only 10 more minutes to enter this, and then realized, oh wait, I have only one week and ten more minutes to enter this.
ReplyDeleteStill, my mom was telling me about this, and it sounds amazing. So, let's see... 1) I Hate cleaning, am not very good at it, but, getting better day by day, because even more than cleaning, I hate a messy house.
Sounds like this would really help me out. (If I'd left the typo, that would have said "really help me pout", but, I'll save the pouting for if I lose.)
2) 12, 13 & 14 times depending on whether you include both titles or not.
ReplyDelete3) This is Very Cool, and Very Revolutionary, and I would use it to detail my car which has endured far too much abuse with far too little care.
ReplyDelete4) Just subscribed to Lemonade Stand!
ReplyDelete5) Just subscribed to It's my life (Even though it's already in my favorites.)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessica.

I hate cleaning because it means that my house isn't clean.
ReplyDeleteOkay...Here goes...I really hate cleaning. I work in a preschool environment, and so I try to do my best at keeping our classroom clean. But if you came to visit me in my home, you might see that I hate cleaning. Anything that can make cleaning at work and home more fun and easier is something that I want in on.
ReplyDeleteI believe you wrote ActiveIon 12 times, if you include the title of the posting.
I have been subscribing to both of your blog feeds for several months now.
I absolutly detest cleaning. It is one of those thigs that never ends or goes away beacuse once you finish you have to start all over again.
ReplyDeleteOK. I subscribed to your RSS feed. Don't know why I didn't do it earlier.
ReplyDeleteI hate cleaning for the reasons everyone else does, but also because it means I'm not playing with my kids.
ReplyDeleteActiveIon 14 times in the article itself, 15 times if you count the contest announcement right above it, and 17 if you count the directions for entering.
ReplyDeleteI also subscribed to your other blog - It's my life. again, why didn't I do this before?
ReplyDeleteBTW, you "know" me as Torturedmommy.
I also visited the site. There's a LOT of science there. If I don't win one, I think I might try making one. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd how I would use it? In my DISGUSTING bathroom, specifically my shower where I am currently afraid to stand. Also in my daughters bedroom.
I hate cleaning because it is a never ending chore. When you are done, you can sit there and admire your work, but then the cat (or in my case, four cats) waltzes through the room, shakes herself and hair flies all over. You can see it drifting down in the light coming through the front door. Then she rambles over to the food dish and proceeds to munch on her kibble and leaves crumbs all over....jgallo1@sc.rr.com
ReplyDeleteI need one to try out just if for no other reason, than I don't understand how it's different from steam...
ReplyDeleteI counted 14 mentions of ActiveIon, including the blog title & the "ActiveIon Pro Giveaway!".
ReplyDeleteOops, I forgot to mention that I absolutely LOATHE cleaning! It's so much worse w/ a 2nd kid...I don't have the time to watch K like a hawk when she eats, so it gets EVERYWHERE, aaargh!
ReplyDeleteI do hate cleaning because it never seems to be clean enough by the time it's time to start all over again...

ReplyDeleteI counted 14, including the 'win an...' line at the very top... not sure that counts, but it is 'up there' ;-) (otherwise 13)
ReplyDeletethe first few days (weeks?) that I have the ActiveIon would probably be spent with 'experiments'... you know, that spot on the rug where the dog threw up that nothing will clean, that koolaid stain on the counter that usually takes weeks to completely get rid of... that kinda thing... lol From looking at the website, I expect to be completely amazed and actually have FUN cleaning... where spots actually DO DISAPPEAR without chemicals!
ReplyDelete...I begged my friend to enter (emailed...) I don't Twitter and I don't have a blog so I guess that's all...
ReplyDeleteCleaning....do I really have to do it????? I hate cleaning, but if I don't do it nobody will.....
ReplyDelete16 if you count everything above and including this sentence: Leave a comment telling me how many times I wrote ActiveIon up there, cuz dude, it was a lot!
ReplyDeleteHowever, if you are just counting what you wrote with no titles: 12
This is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen! To be able to clean with water and no chemicals....WOW!!! Every household should have one of these! I want one of these!
ReplyDeleteI would use it to clean my kitchen, my bathrooms, my windows inside and out which hasn't been done in 5 years....ewwwww, my marble bathroom, I would probably start trying it on everything just to see what it realy works on.
This is a good product, but there is another product out there making similar claims of converting tap water into a cleaner and sanitizer. The lotus home cleaning system has been around for over 3 years now and does a lot more than the Activeion, for about half the price. Let's face it, even tap water will clean, but the lotus takes tap water and infuses it with an extra oxygen atom to create an all natural oxidizer, so that you can clean just like Mother Nature does.
ReplyDeleteFor those that really care, the lotus goes one step further and has valid kill claims (we don't just wipe it away) on just about every bacteria and virus out there. On top of that, it kills mold and mildew, removes ANY stain in carpets or upholstery better than chemicals and even deodorizes!
The lotus is truly the one cleaning machine that will let you eliminate every cleaning product in your home, not just half of them...
Yes, I hate cleaning. Even in a room that's never used, I have to go back in to get rid of dust (like . . . once a year).
ReplyDeleteRe. grease, I was very skeptical of the Shaklee two-drop spray bottle, but it's quite amazing--squirted, wiped, and all grease was gone from the burger fry.
I don't mind cleaning, but I hate using harsh chemicals in which to do so. I would FLIP if I won this!

I counted 12 Active Ions.

I don't really mind cleaning, and I love when I've completed a task and it's all nice and shiny. What I'm not crazy about is that no one else notices, and does nothing to help maintain.
ReplyDeleteI counted 17 ActiveIon references, including the ones in the rules/entries section.

I hate cleaning but I LOVE a clean house so I do it anyways.
ReplyDeleteYou wrote ActiveIon 16 times! That is a lot - lol
ReplyDeleteI checked out the website and read all of the testimonials and I would really love the option of being totally 'green'
ReplyDeleteI hate cleaning, cleaning hates me back. This is so cool, visiting from Mom dot, thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I'm not big into cleaning. I keep my downstairs fairly clean because I run a daycare from my home but my upstairs...huge disaster zone!! I absolutely HATE dealing with the bedrooms! And I admit, it's hard to keep your kids on top of their rooms when they see what yours looks like!! My bad!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!!
I hate cleaning because once I get started I get extermemly anal and everything has to be spotless or else I feel like it was just a waste of my time!!! With an 8 month old and 2 dogs (one of which is a freakin Golden Retriever!) my house is not NEARLY as clean as it should be!!
ReplyDeletelove cleaning? You have got to be kidding, right? While I love a clean house, I don't love cleaning-I'm allergic to dust, dander and all that good stuff Any movement of particles sends me rushing for some Claritin. I would love to try this out, less chemicals and a better way to clean!

ReplyDeleteThanks for this nice posting i will come again
ReplyDeleteFor small houses, internal window taking care of
ReplyDeletebegins at $99 while the external window taking care of starts with $139.
Obviously, the external ms windows are more difficult to clean especially the
second storey ms windows. They could be dirtier and hard to reach so they
require more servicing.
